Olivia Harmon is an Environmental Sciences and Engineering PhD candidate at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, researching wastewater infrastructure in rural Alabama. She is also working towards a graduate certificate in participatory research. Her research interests include environmental justice, environmental health microbiology, and the role of infrastructure in protecting overall well-being. She received a Master of Science Degree in Global Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Chemical and Biological Engineering.
