Caroline is a master’s student in Environmental Sciences and Engineering, where she studies the microbiome of healthcare environments as part of the Precision Microbiome Engineering Research Center (PreMiEr). Her research interests include environmental health microbiology as well as water, sanitation, and hygiene in the context of global health. She earned her BSPH in Environmental Health Sciences from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at UNC.
