Sari is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working toward a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Anthropology. Human Development, Sustainability, and Rights in Africa and the African Diaspora is the minor they are pursuing. They are interested in the intersection of global health policy and human development and sustainability in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. They currently serve on the Executive Board of the Campus Y Social Justice Hub of UNC, as the Co-Director of Cabinet.
