Diannah Abdel Halim is a fourth year undergraduate student at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Public Policy with a double minor in Health & Society and Data Science. Her main interests include health policy, environmental health policy, minority women health advocacy, and equity in healthcare access. Before joining the Water Institute, she participated in research at UNC with the Gillings School of Global Public Health and the Environmental Health department to create a COVID-19 risk calculator in different environments while also accounting for HVAC systems.
