Rita Gyimah is a Research Assistant at the Water Institute and a first-year Ph.D. student in the Environment Sciences and Engineering department. She is currently working with a team on a rapid review on Risk, Impacts, and Adaptation to Water Security and Resilience in Low- and Middle-Income Countries in the Water Institute. Her research interests include climate change, water resources management, and climate adaptation. She has spent over four years working as a field and a research assistant in areas around WASH, waste management, and climate change-related issues. In addition, she worked with the International Water and Management Institute as a research intern. She conducted systematic literature reviews on Disaster Risk and Resilience, fecal sludge management, and Small-Scale irrigation in West Africa.
