Kevin is lab manager for the Water Institute and Joe Brown labs. His research interests are in fecal source tracking, wastewater monitoring of emerging pathogens, fecal biomarkers of intestinal inflammation, and connections between hydrology and human health. Kevin obtained his PhD in environmental engineering from Georgia Tech in 2021 where he studied human mitochondrial DNA as an indicator of human fecal contamination.
