Lucy is a PhD student in the Environmental Sciences and Engineering program at UNC. Her research involves evaluating costs and benefits of water and sanitation infrastructure investments in low-income health facilities. She is particularly interested in studying the role of WASH interventions in health system strengthening and epidemic preparedness. Lucy previously worked in global health research at the National Public Health Institute of Liberia and Stanford University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Dartmouth College.
