Charity Tuseko Muwowo Sindano is a Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Specialist at UNICEF with over 16 years of experience in the UK and Zambia. She has led key projects, co-developed multi-million-dollar proposals, and coordinated humanitarian responses. With a Master of Science degree in Accounting with Finance from London South Bank University, she is a passionate, results-oriented leader with expertise in WASH enabling environment, including policy, strategy, coordination, and capacity development. Notably, she played a leading role in developing some national documents in Zambia, namely, the National Water Supply and Sanitation Capacity Development Strategy, Zambia WASH Climate Risk Assessment, WASH Equity and Inclusion Guidance Note, and the Hand Hygiene Roadmap for all. She previously worked as a Senior Capacity Development Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), providing policy and capacity development support to the Government of Zambia. At the UNC Water Institute, she supports the UNC Water and Health Conference coordination.
