Kyle Rezek is a PhD student and researcher at the Water Institute. His focus is on lead in drinking water at the intersection of public health and environmental engineering. He has a previous masters degree from the University of Florida focused on PFAS degradation in varying water chemistries. He is an active member of both the local and international water community, as a chair on the student and young professional NC One Water committee and he also was a junior rapporteur for the World Water Week in Stockholm, the Water and Health conference in Chapel Hill, and the UN Water Conference in New York City.
