Graduated with a BSPH in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Current MS Student in Environmental Sciences and Engineering. Research interests include WaSH interventions, disease transmission, and pathogen transportation in the environment. Current work includes the evaluation of the relationship between climatic factors (precipitation, temperature) and disease transmission in Maputo, Mozambique as well as the impact of a sanitation intervention on said relationship. Past work included the evaluation of risk factors for helminth transmission in Alabama, biofiltration efficiency differences between colonies in a drinking water treatment plant, and the microbiome of high-touch surfaces.
