The Career KickStarter is a program designed to foster networking and mentorship within the WASH sector. (Mentor and Mentee Pre-Registration Required)
All participation is voluntary and there is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required to match mentors and mentees. A target of 20 professionals and 20 students is desired for successful implementation.
New professionals will be matched with an experienced professional in a mentorship relationship, which both mentee and mentor are committed to sustaining for one year.
While mentees are expected to drive this mentoring relationship, mentors provide guidance and constructive criticism to students, actively engage their professional network to strengthen the student’s, educate the student on the ins-and-outs of their own profession, have regular meetings to ensure the students goals are being met, and most importantly, provide encouragement to their mentee.
