Part 1: UNICEF and SIWI Part 2: UNICEF, DINEPA, Action Against Hunger, French Red Cross, Tufts University, Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP)*, Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Marseille (AP-HM) Part 1: This side event will present -in parallel and in two separate break-up rooms- two UNICEF contributions to global COVID-19 response and Cholera eradication in Haiti. The first one presents the results of a WASH COVID-19 mapping of responses taken by governments in 84 countries across the world.

Part 2: The Haiti experience: 20 months without cholera, on the brink of achieving elimination. A diverse set of stakeholders, Government, University, International Organizations, sharing their experience. A unique opportunity to discover how the Alert-Response System topped with a strong coordination and leadership not only succeeded in stopping disease transmission but may also be useful to control other outbreaks.
