Eliza is the Operations Director for the Water Institute at UNC. She has over a decade of experience supporting and leading strategic initiatives to improve organizational, operational, and financial practices in research administration. Before joining UNC, Eliza worked in the Research Enterprise Solutions practice at Huron Consulting Group, where she helped transform research operations at many top universities and hospitals across the country. Her interest in impactful academic research began as a UNC student, where she served as a Research Assistant in several campus labs, as well as Program Assistant for Carolina Kick Start Venture Services. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill.
