Please review our refund policy before submitting your registration and payment. Refunds must be processed by 5:00 PM EDT on May 10, 2016 for a full refund, minus any transaction fees. All requests must be submitted in writing, via email, fax, or postal mail. No refunds will be issued after 5:00 PM EDT May 10, 2016, with the exception of visa denials. We will issue full refunds for those that are denied a visa to enter the U.S., provided the registrant can provide proof of declination from the U.S. State Department/U.S. Embassies. Please note that you are responsible for cancelling any other reservations (airfare, hotels, etc.) you may have made in preparation for the conference. Water Microbiology Conference hosts are not responsible for any fees associated with those cancellations.
UNC or The Water Institute reserves the right to retain all or a portion of registration fees to offset unrecoverable costs if the event is cancelled due to causes beyond the control of either UNC, The Water Institute or its suppliers including, but not limited to: war, sabotage, insurrection, riot or other act of civil disobedience, acts of the Customer or a third party, failure or delay in transportation, acts of any Government or any agency, or subdivision thereof, Government regulations, judicial actions, labor disputes, strikes, embargoes, illness, accident, fire, explosion, flood, tempest or other acts of God. In any such event, UNC and The Water Institute may without liability cancel or vary the terms of the event including, but not limited to, extending the time for performing the event for a period of at least equal to the time lost by reason of such event.
